Research Focus: materials for photoelectrochemical water splitting

Yash is a fifth-year chemistry Ph.D. student in Law group at the University of California, Irvine. He received his integrated master’s degree in chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. Before joining UCI, he worked on inorganic nanomaterials for optoelectronics and catalysis and push-pull dyes for DSSCs. In the Law group, he focuses on nanostructured thin-film devices for photoelectrochemical solar fuels and p-type DSSCs. He also works on controlled assembly of plasmonic nanoparticles for SERS substrates.
